Sigils : what are sigils and how do we use them?

Image
We see sigils everywhere, every day, in different shapes and forms. Every logo you see? Is a sigil. Religious symbols you see? Sigil. You see the symbol Om and your mind and entire being only thinks of the Universe, meditation, Shiv ji, and peace. Right? You see a bright yellow M, you know it's Mac Donald's. Yes? So what are sigils? One simple search on Google will give you a lot of information. For the sake of this post, I'm going to simplify it for you here.  * custom sigil. Not to be used.   Sigils are graphical and pictoral representation of your intention, affirmation, dream, vision. Think of what you've wanted to achieve - your dream job, your desired weight, that house you wanted, good health, an income of X amount ... When you create a pictoral representation of that dream, it becomes a sigil. So instead of affirming "I am healthy" while meditating, you meditate with the symbol/design you made for the statement 'I am healthy '.  C

Let’s talk hygiene.

Hey guys, Maybe it’s the lunar eclipse energies or the solar eclipse energies still lingering. But I have been feeling….like this immense need to let go, to cry it out or to just sit and stare into nothing. Have you ever felt that? No? Yes? Confused? I feel you. I do. And that is why I wanted to talk about hygiene. To throw away the riffraff and to take care of our needs, and understand ourselves better. What about hygiene, you ask? While, yes, our bodies and our physical environment does affect us at every level, the fact remains that we are not aware of this very minor, small, tiny fact. That’s why most rituals start with ‘taking a ritual bath’ or a cleansing bath’. The purer, simpler, and freer our physical embodiment is, the freer we feel on the inside.  But more than that, what I want to talk about and pay emphasis upon is our mental and emotional hygiene. You don’t understand, you say? Let me be your guide on this then.  You know the importance of bathing, brushing your teeth, w

#musingsfromtheheart A huge part of healing is identifying, acknowledging, and accepting all parts of us. The parts we keep hidden because of fear of judgement. The emotions of distress that we ignore Because we've been conditioned to do so. Those feelings of helplessness where we're left clutching at our throat for a chance to just breathe...or those anxieties where a glass of spilled milk bursts open the dam of tears.  Sometimes, talking to someone about it helps. But sometimes, it takes a little more than that. Those are the times where you've got to make a decision whether your dying a little everyday is worth it... You bend your knee, twist your ankle, sprain your wrist and break your neck, keeping abreast all these expectations of you, all these roles you're supposed to fulfill without recharging yourself ... Is it really worth it? And would the others rather have a whole of a dying you? Or a little of a happy you? #thinkaboutit #betruetoyou #youdeservetobehappy

#musingsfromtheheart is also a way to build all of us up, without pretentions, without masks, without expectations. Its just you and me, and a chat over coffee. :-)

I find myself jotting down random thoughts throughout the day. I hope it helps you the way they have helped me over the years.

T’s battle with cancer #mondaymemoirswithkarabhayam

#mondaymemoirswithkarabhayam Hello everyone. Hope the week started with beautifully for you guys. Today's memoir is T's journey of battling with Cancer. Her son approached us in the second half of 2019 for healing for T, who'd been battling cancer for more than a year. Chemo had taken her strength her away. Once a bubbly woman with an active social life, now she was at one fourth her older weight, tired and exhausted. Her son was very clear in his expectations too. He just wanted his mum to have a little life. Battling with something like for more than a year takes its toll on ones mind body and spirit. I knew that. He knew that. T knew that. But with an intention of trying my level best to help her in every way I can, we started her healing. The energies were stuck. But slowly with sessions they started moving. After a couple sessions, T's son reported to me that even after chemo now ever since healing has started, she didn't look drained. She was tired no doubts

B’s healing journey #mondaymemoirswithkarabhayam

Hello Fam! As mentioned earlier, we won't take anybody's name on social media. With that in mind, this Monday we are going to talk about B . This is his healing journey B came to us in July of 2020. With the issue of Polycethemia Vera. It is an abnormally increased concentration of haemoglobin in the blood, either through reduction of plasma volume or increase in red cell numbers. It may be a primary disease of unknown cause, or a secondary condition linked to respiratory or circulatory disorder or cancer. B had been diagnosed with it in the October of 2019. There were no medicines except aspirin. He'd be required to visit the hospital every month for phlebotomy. Month after month. This disease is a proclaimed "incurable" one. We started his healing journey in July 2020 with a baseline medical test done the same month. His haemoglobin was 21, and RBC was 7 lacs. We started with dedicated healing sessions for all mental and emotional issues caused by Polycethemi
